Best Tuition Management Software in Singapore (2026)

· 8 min read · By the TuitionCRM team

Most tuition software is built in the US, UK or Australia. It can schedule lessons and send invoices — but parents in Singapore pay by PayNow, tutors price in SGD, and your year runs on PSLE, O-Level/SEC and A-Level dates. Here's what to look for, and which app fits whom.

What a Singapore tutor or centre needs

  1. PayNow on every invoice — a QR with the amount filled in, so parents pay in seconds and you don't pay card fees.
  2. Prices in SGD, with your UEN and GST number on invoices if you have them.
  3. Singapore public holidays and exam dates on the calendar, so you don't book a lesson on a PSLE paper.
  4. Invoices from the lessons actually taught — with cancellations, make-ups and monthly fees handled.
  5. WhatsApp-friendly — invoices and reminders that parents can open on their phone.
  6. Teacher schedules and rooms, if you run a centre.
  7. Pricing that fits your size — free or cheap when you're small, no per-lesson fees as you grow.

TuitionCRM — our pick for most Singapore tutors and centres

Built in Singapore for tutors and centres here. Your PayNow QR with the amount filled in goes on every invoice, prices are in SGD, and public holidays and national exam dates are already on the calendar. Each parent gets a private page with lessons, invoices and exam countdowns — no app to download — and invoices are worked out from the lessons you actually taught, with make-ups tracked.

  • Solo tutors: free for up to 5 students; Pro is S$59 a month for up to 30.
  • Small centres: Pro Plus is S$119 a month for up to 70 students, you and 2 teachers.
  • Centres: the Centre plan is S$249 a month for unlimited students and teachers — teacher schedule links, rooms, cover teachers and teacher pay. No per-student or per-lesson fees.
  • Not the best fit if: you want automatic PayNow matching with your bank, a branded parent app, or per-branch reporting across many branches.

Skooly

Singapore tuition-centre software with PayNow built in, including automatic reconciliation, and a branded parent app. Its plans start at 100 students, so it's priced for established centres rather than solo tutors. TuitionCRM vs Skooly.

SchoolTracs

Centre-management software used in Hong Kong and Singapore, priced per branch by number of students. A good fit for centres with several branches that want per-branch reporting. TuitionCRM vs SchoolTracs.

Teachworks

A full-featured option for larger tutoring businesses, with accounts for parents, students and teachers and card payments through Stripe. Its plans add a fee per student-lesson on top of the monthly price, which adds up for a busy centre. TuitionCRM vs Teachworks.

TutorBird and TutorCruncher

TutorBird is a solid all-rounder for tutors elsewhere, with card payments through Stripe or PayPal. TutorCruncher is built for agencies that match tutors to clients, with timesheets and payroll. Neither lists PayNow. Compare: TutorBird, TutorCruncher.

Or stay with a spreadsheet and WhatsApp?

With a handful of students on simple monthly fees, that's often enough. Once you have repeating lessons, make-ups and 10+ invoices a month, an app saves hours. See TuitionCRM vs Excel and vs WhatsApp and a notebook.

How to choose in an afternoon

  1. Shortlist two that fit your size from the table above.
  2. Add five real students and a week of lessons to each.
  3. Send yourself an invoice and open it on your phone, as a parent would. Can you pay by PayNow in seconds?
  4. Cancel a lesson and book a make-up. Does the next invoice come out right?
  5. Check the price at your size in a year, not just today.

Common questions

Is there free tuition management software?

Yes. TuitionCRM is free for up to 5 students, with scheduling, PayNow invoices, parent pages and make-ups. A spreadsheet is also free, but you build and maintain everything yourself — see TuitionCRM vs Excel.

Which tuition software works with PayNow?

TuitionCRM puts your own PayNow QR, with the amount filled in, on every invoice. Skooly lists PayNow with automatic reconciliation. We couldn't find PayNow listed on TutorBird, Teachworks or TutorCruncher's websites (checked 15 October 2026).

Do parents need to download an app?

Not with TuitionCRM — each parent gets a private web page with their child's lessons, invoices and exam countdowns. Some other apps use a parent app, which some centres like for branding.

Can I move my students over from Excel?

Yes. TuitionCRM imports students from Excel or Google Sheets, and the Pro Plus and Centre plans include help moving your data in.

Is my students' data safe?

Ask any provider where data is stored, who can see it and how you can export it. You're responsible for parents' data under Singapore's PDPA — the PDPC explains your duties.
